On the first day, for the first time as part of the Łódź IT Days, we hosted students and high school pupils at the Faculty of Technical Physics, Computer Science and Applied Mathematics, where in the modern spaces of the Institute of Physics, participants took part in presentations, workshops and lectures, the main theme of which this year was cybersecurity.
The opening lecture, “Live Hacking – Current Ways of Stealing Credentials,” showed everyone how easy it is to lose access data to any service these days. Despite the widespread use of multi-factor authentication (MFA), cybercriminals are still finding new ways to bypass these security measures. The latest techniques used by attackers to obtain access data from us, including to email accounts, were presented live.
Łódzki Klaster ICT przyznał też jak co roku stypendia dla laureatów konkursu na Studencki Łódzki[a] Programista[ka] roku po 5 tys. ł dla studentów Politechniki Łódzkiej, Uniwersytetu Łódzkiego i Społecznej Akademii Nauk, a także po raz pierwszy dla najlepszego programisty z Technikum Administracyjno-Usługowego.
On the second day at the University of Lodz, students, high school youth and IT enthusiasts received another dose of up-to-date knowledge in the area of AI, cybersecurity, programming and cloud technologies.
This year, ŁDI also visited the Social Academy of Sciences for the first time, where SAN students had the opportunity to listen to inspiring lectures and take part in a series of workshops.
For two days, ŁDI participants could also visit the stands of cluster participants during the job fair: Commerzbank, Hitachi Energy, Procter & Gamble, Rossmann, Ericsson, Hexagon i Makolab. In addition to offers of internships, apprenticeships and jobs, the stands also featured gadgets, competitions and good fun
