Cybersecurity and Artificial Intelligence Forum

On 26 March 2024, the Lodz Chamber of Industry and Commerce and the Polish Information Technology Association (PTI) organised an event called the 'Cyber Security and Artificial Intelligence Forum'. The event aimed to explore the current challenges of cyber security and explore the role of artificial intelligence in the context of challenges, opportunities and threats for businesses.

One of the key points of this forum was a panel discussion on the topic 'Cyber security - threats to businesses'. This session discussed various aspects of digital security, identifying the main threats and looking for effective defence strategies. The panel discussion was moderated by Paweł Henig, an expert of the Chamber of Experts of the Polish Information Technology Association.

Experts and industry representatives included Lt. Col. Andrzej Bogdanski from the Academy of Military Art in Warsaw, Michał Brykowski from the Central Office for Combating Cybercrime, Paulina Krakowska and Waldemar Nurzynski - experts from PKO BP, and Grzegorz Trzcinski representing Eviden GDC Poland and the Łódź ICT Cluster.

Grzegorz Trzcinski, who was one of the panellists, made a significant contribution to the discussion. As an expert in the area of modern information technology, he shared his knowledge of the latest trends in cyber security and presented practical solutions to protect businesses from cyber attacks.

A number of important issues were raised during the discussion, including the growing threat from cybercrime, the need to constantly adapt to evolving attack techniques and the need for cyber security education at all levels of the organisation. The panellists were unanimous in stressing that the fight against cybercrime requires cooperation between the public and private sectors, as well as continuous improvement of both technological and human resources.

Following the panel discussion, participants had the opportunity for further discussions and networking, exchanging experiences and views on the latest challenges in cyber security and artificial intelligence.

The Cyber Security and Artificial Intelligence Forum in Lodz was an important event for the business and technology world, allowing the identification of the most pressing issues and the search for effective solutions to protect against cyber threats in the digital age.
