C-level meeting of the Łódź IT industry

A C-level meeting of the Łódź IT industry will be held on Thursday, 22 February from 5.30 p.m. , on the campus of the Łódź University of Technology, combined with a panel discussion on the growing generation gap among academic staff - in the context of training IT specialists for companies in the region.

Educating professional staff for the economy is becoming one of the main challenges facing universities in the context of an ageing academic workforce and low competitiveness of university employment.

The panel discussion will take place with the Rector of the Technical University of Lodz, Prof. Krzysztof Jóźwik.

The discussion, moderated by Dr Dominika Kaczorowska - Spychalska, will include:

  • Prof. Andrzej Romanowski (Prorector for Education, Lodz University of Technology)
  • Grzegorz Trzciński (Technology Business Development & Site Manager Łódź Eviden GDC, Chairman of the Steering Committee of Łódź ICT Cluster)
  • Marek Walczak (Programme Manager at Harman Connected Services Poland, Chairman of the Education Task Force of the Łódź ICT Cluster).

The second part of the meeting will feature networking of the Łódź ICT industry.
