Behind us is the gala on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of ICT Polska Centralna Klaster, which took place in the Zatoka Sportu of the Lodz University of Technology. The event was officially opened by the Rector of the Lodz University of Technology, prof. Krzysztof Jóźwik, emphasizing how important the cooperation of universities with business is nowadays, in the context of technological progress and the constantly changing labor market.

During the ceremony, the chairman of the cluster council and at the same time the vice-rector of TUL for development, prof. Paweł Strumiłło, summed up the decade of the cluster's activity, presenting the most important milestones in the development of this organization, coordinated by the Lodz University of Technology.

During the gala, the cluster's refreshed logo was presented along with a new name - Central Poland ICT Cluster is now Lodz ICT Cluster! The new name is clearly associated with Łódź, while the graphic element of the logotype remains unchanged, ensuring the continuity of the cluster's visual identification.

During the ceremony, we met the winners of the Lodzki[a] Programmer[ka] of the Year 2022                                     and Maciej Zieliński for creating the application WatchLine Lodz.  The winning project in the Open Source category - bone IO belongs to the team composed of: Maciej Krasuski, Mariusz Rubach, Paweł Szafer and Kamil Bożek. In the  Knowledge Sharing the contribution to the spread of knowledge and development of competence of Rafał Legiędzia was appreciated, including winning the title five timesMicrosoft Most Valuable Professional.

Congratulations to all winners awarded in the competition, and we wish the Łódź ICT Cluster further effective actions for the Łódź high-tech industry.
