Lodz University of Technology is a public technical university of recognised national and international standing, educating high-class specialists to meet the needs of the labour market. The Lodz University of Technology Foundation was established on 7 July 2011 for the academic community of the Lodz University of Technology, with particular emphasis on students. The activities carried out are intended to support the acquisition of funds supporting the education of students, their scientific and research activities and development, as well as the integration of the academic community. Thanks to the support of the Foundation, it has been possible to organise many scientific conferences, competitions thanks to which the most talented students have received support for further scientific development. Since 2013. Lodz University of Technology Foundation has started to carry out therapeutic activities - the FPŁ Laser Diagnostics and Therapy Centre.

Inovatica is a Łódź-based software house specializing in offshoring of programming services - from design through coding to maintenance of developed solutions. We have over 10 years of experience in working with international clients from different time zones and cultures. We deal with both the development of web and mobile applications as well as the Internet of Things as well as location services and autonomous internal transport vehicles. ŁARR was established on November 29, 1991 as a unit supporting the development of the sector of micro, small and medium-sized enterprises by developing and implementing programs financed from EU funds. Since 2001, ŁARR has been the Regional Financing Institution (RI F), responsible for servicing and implementing programs intended for financing investments in new technologies, specialist consulting services, raising employees' qualifications and developing exports. The company performs the function of the RFI by implementing selected measures of the Innovative Economy Operational Program (measures 4.2, 4.4, 6.1, 8.1, 8.2).
Łódzka Kolej Aglomeracyjna is a railway carrier that provides transport services commissioned by the local government of the Łódź Voivodeship. The company started operations in June 2014. Trains serve connections in the Łódź Voivodeship, and on weekends also to Warsaw. ŁKA has only modern, comfortable rolling stock, a multi-channel sales system and an attractive ticket offer. It also offers many amenities for passengers, such as free wifi and bicycle transport, ticket machines on trains, electrical outlets, etc. ŁKA is adapted to the needs of people with disabilities and reduced mobility. The purpose of the establishment of the Company was to provide the inhabitants of the Łódź Voivodeship with the possibility of everyday mobility. ŁKA cooperates with local governments and the largest employers in the region. It promotes the tourist attractions of the Łódź Voivodeship by offering special ticket offers, organizing trips and special rides. Over 10 million passengers have already used ŁKA trains. The company is developing dynamically and is preparing to handle new connections in the province.
